| Carpet Dog was created out of need. I was pulling glued down carpet as additional income and I was getting more "opportunities" than my back could stand. I looked at the available carpet removal machines on the market and knew I could do better. I knew that the vibrator type machines were noisy and slow. The "best" way to remove glued down carpeting was to PULL it up by hand. That's when I decided to design and build a better machine. Over the next five years I consulted with some of the best design engineers in the World. Carpet Dog is designed to be fast. I designed Carpet Dog to be quiet. No more loud throbbing noises like all those other machines that vibrate. Now you can pull carpet next door to a working office and get no complaints. This machine is quality built in the U.S. It uses a quality one-half hp electric motor coupled with a 80:1 ratio transmission to handle the toughest jobs.
